We strive to maximize each student’s academic potential while encouraging life-long learning. We incorporate Catholic teaching and Christian family values in order to promote the spiritual, intellectual, and physical growth of our students. Children of all faiths are welcome.
Class Size: Maximum 30 students. Up to and including 3rd grade, a classroom aide is assigned if there are more than 25 students in a class.
After school care: Our BASE program runs from 3:00-5:30 every afternoon except the first and last days of school and the day before Thanksgiving.
Teaching Staff: 10 full-time teachers, 6 part-time teachers, and 3 classroom aides
Computers/Technology: A dedicated computer lab complete with Internet access is used by all kindergarten through middle school students. Seventh and eighth graders are assigned their own computers within their regular classroom.
Tuition: We rely on school families to utilize their time, talents and treasure in order to support and educate our students. As an entire school family this is accomplished through the Fair Share Program, which helps determine the amount of financial support parents are asked to contribute.
School Background
The main building on St. Mary’s School campus was built in 1924, and it is nestled in a safe, well-established neighborhood. Other facilities students utilize on a regular basis include St. Mary’s Church, a combined free-standing preschool and junior high building, a parish activity center, a youth ministry/retreat house, and a private playground. All of these areas are located on a single block and are within walking distance from one another.
